Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, refers to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding have been a part of his life since childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother to his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, aged 27, is a first-generation farmer located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large property is home to a variety of wildlife and includes a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing included exposure to horses and spending abundant time outdoors, which influenced his decision to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm of his own, which houses horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, 29, runs a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. He resides in a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by farmland. As a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now manages the family business, aiming to carry on his father's legacy.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility since his father passed away when he was just 12. He has taken on the role of helping to care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
