Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, potentially causing some drama on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different regions in the United States as they search for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique twist to this situation. Each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand what it means to be a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. He has a deep passion for roping and riding, which he has been doing since childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a new farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He has a large property with a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and has always enjoyed spending time outdoors, which inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town where he resides is very small, with just one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. He comes from a family of farmers and grew up helping his father on the farm. Rogers is committed to carrying on the family business and preserving the legacy that his father began.

Nathan Smothers, who is 23 years old, comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His property is extensive, with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers demonstrates maturity beyond his years. He had to take on responsibilities at a young age after his father passed away when he was just 12, helping to care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
