Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been involved in roping and riding since he was a young boy and it's a passion that runs deep in his veins. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a loving mother figure for his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His farm has a diverse range of animals and includes a historic cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood was filled with horses and outdoor activities, which inspired him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm that houses both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm that spans 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with just one stoplight, and is encompassed by farmland. He comes from a farming family and has been helping out on the farm since he was a child, working alongside his father. Rogers is dedicated to carrying on the family business and hopes to uphold the legacy that his father began.
23-year-old Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers, with citrus and cattle farming running in his family for four generations. He resides in Bartow, Florida, where he owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and an additional 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father when he was just 12 years old. He now takes on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on Fox.
