You have arrived at this place. Sennheiser has introduced their new HD 490 PRO
Sennheiser has introduced the HD 490 PRO headphones, which they say provide excellent sound quality, comfort, and durability. These headphones are designed to cater to the needs of contemporary music production.
The HD 490 PRO series guarantees a natural frequency response, providing a lively and genuine sound reproduction throughout the full range of audio frequencies from 5Hz to 36.1kHz (-10dB). These headphones come with two sets of ear pads that are tailored for creating and mixing music. This design helps reduce ear fatigue and enables precise identification of frequencies during detailed listening tasks.
The HD 490 PRO headphones feature an open-back design and are equipped with neodymium magnets and Sennheiser's unique low-frequency cylinder system. This design is meant to provide a rich, precise, and clear low end sound, allowing for accurate reproduction of low frequencies.
Sennheiser created these headphones with a focus on comfort and flexibility, ensuring they are suitable for long studio sessions. The HD 490 PRO series uses Sennheiser's Open-frame Architecture to reduce distortion and resonance, improving overall sound quality.
The headphones come with a plug-in called Dear Reality dearVR MIX-SE, which uses spatial audio technology to create a virtual mixing space that mimics the sound characteristics of different real mix studios and locations when using headphone monitors.
The HD 490 PRO Plus model comes with an extra 3m cable, additional headband pad, and a carrying case.
The HD 490 PRO series comes in two options – HD 490 PRO and HD 490 PRO Plus. Each option includes the HD 490 PRO headphones, a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter, a 1.8 m cable, mixing and producing ear pads. The HD 490 PRO Plus also includes a headband pad, a 3 m cable, and a case.
You can purchase the Sennheiser HD 490 PRO headphones now. The PRO version is priced at $399£349 and the PRO Plus version is priced at $479£399.
