The lead singer of Sugar Ray has verified that Kid Rock was telling the truth in his lyrics about getting more attention from women than Mark McGrath.
The words were taken from a song called "Cocky" by Rock in 2001, from his album with the same title. The specific part contains the lyrics: "I don't know who you are / I'm Kid Rock from the old days / I have more money than Matchbox Twenty / I get more attention than Mark McGrath."
The answer to a question that has been around for over twenty years was finally found. It all began when Rock Feed posted on social media asking if Kid Rock really had more romantic encounters than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after that, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that the debate should be settled by Mark McGrath, a popular singer from Sugar Ray, and tagged him in the post.
McGrath responded to the question with a good attitude, confirming that the person mentioned did indeed rhyme "ass" with his last name. This response was shared through X, which was previously known as Twitter.
