The lead singer of Sugar Ray has confirmed that Kid Rock was telling the truth when he claimed to "get more ass" than Mark McGrath.
The lyrics were taken from a song by Rock released in 2001 called "Cocky" from an album with the same name. In one part of the song, the lyrics mention questioning someone's identity and boasting about having more money and success than popular bands like Matchbox Twenty and Mark McGrath.
How was the answer to this question, which has been around for over twenty years, finally found? It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media whether Kid Rock really had more romantic encounters than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should intervene to resolve the argument, and he also mentioned the singer from Sugar Ray in his post.
McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor, confirming that the person in question did indeed rhyme "ass" with McGrath. This response was shared by the singer on X (formerly Twitter).

If you were curious, Matchbox Twenty has not responded to Rock's other brag. It would be interesting to compare the financials of both bands, as they have both been successful in four different decades.
