Sugar Ray vocalist confirms that the lyrics from Kid Rock were accurate when he claimed to "get more ass" than Mark McGrath.
The lyrics in question are from a song called "Cocky" by Rock from his 2001 album with the same title. In those lyrics, he identifies himself as Kid Rock from the old school and boasts about having more money than Matchbox Twenty and getting more attention from women than Mark McGrath.
How was a question that had been around for over twenty years finally resolved? It all began when Rock Feed raised the question on social media: "Did Kid Rock really have more romantic encounters than Mark McGrath?"
Shortly after, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the discussion, and he also mentioned the Sugar Ray vocalist in his post.
McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor, confirming that the person did indeed rhyme "ass" with his last name. He made a light-hearted comment through X (formerly Twitter).
