The lead singer of Sugar Ray has verified that the lyrics in Kid Rock's song were accurate when he claimed to "get more ass" than Mark McGrath.
The lyrics mentioned are from Kid Rock's song "Cocky" released in 2001 on his album of the same title. The specific section contains the lines: "Do you even know who I am? I am Kid Rock from the traditional era. I am wealthier than Matchbox Twenty and get more attention from women than Mark McGrath."
How was a question that had been unanswered for over twenty years finally resolved? It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media whether Kid Rock really had more romantic partners than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after that, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument, and he also tagged the lead singer of Sugar Ray.
McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor, confirming that the person in question did indeed rhyme "ass" with his last name. This response was delivered through the platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
