Super Bowl 58: The Most Expensive Ticket in Game History

  • by

Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever. If you're looking to attend this year's game, be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Currently, the lowest priced single ticket available on the ticket resale website TickPick is $8,000. This ticket would provide you with a seat in the upper 300 section. However, it is important to note that the site does ensure that a seat is secured for that price.

If the prices remain stable, this Super Bowl ticket will be remembered as the most costly one ever. The previous record holder was the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket price was $6,370. The main reason for the high price that year was that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home team, were competing in the game. However, this year, that is not the case.

The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first to take place in Las Vegas, and experts believe this is causing ticket prices to rise as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and attend the prestigious sporting event.

In case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.

Many 49er fans prioritize location when purchasing tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26 percent of ticket sales come from California. Fans from California have a shorter distance to travel to see their favorite team compared to fans from Kansas and Missouri, who only account for a combined 7 percent of ticket sales on the website.

Also, we shouldn't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift. Her presence at the event is expected to attract a larger female audience than usual.

Regardless of how you gain entry, the Allegiant Stadium with 65,000 seats will be completely full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30 PM Eastern Time.
