The 2020 Super Bowl holds the record for the highest average ticket purchase price, coming in at $6,370. The main reason for this high price was the fact that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were competing in the game. However, this year, the home team playing in the Super Bowl is not the reason for the high ticket prices.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be taking place in Las Vegas for the first time ever. According to ticket experts, this unique location is causing prices to rise as fans are eager to experience a weekend in Sin City and top it off with the biggest sports event globally.
