Super Bowl 58: The Most Expensive Ticket in History

  • by

Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever, making it a must for those with deep pockets. If you're hoping to attend this year's Super Bowl, be prepared to pay a premium as it is set to break records for ticket costs.

Currently, the least expensive single ticket available on the ticket resale website TickPick is priced at $8,000. This ticket would provide you with a seat in the upper 300 section, although it is important to note that the site cannot guarantee a specific seat.

Should the prices remain stable, this Super Bowl ticket will be remembered as the priciest one ever sold. The previous record was set by the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket price was $6,370. One of the main reasons for the high prices that year was the fact that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were playing in the game. However, this year is different as the home team is not playing.

The upcoming Super Bowl will make history as the first to take place in Las Vegas. According to ticket experts, this unique location is causing ticket prices to rise as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and experience the excitement of the biggest sporting event in the world.

In case you were curious, the average cost of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.

Many 49er fans prioritize location when buying tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26 percent of ticket sales come from California. Fans prefer to make the shorter trip to see their favorite team play. In contrast, Kansas and Missouri account for just 7 percent of ticket sales on the site.

Also, we shouldn't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event is expected to attract more female fans than usual.

Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium, with a seating capacity of 65,000, will be completely full. The kickoff for Super Bowl 58 is scheduled for Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
