Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest priced tickets ever, making it a game for those willing to spend big. If you plan on attending this year's Super Bowl, be prepared to pay top dollar.
As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale website TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide you with a seat in the upper 300 section, although the website specifies that the purchase guarantees you a seat.
If the prices remain stable, this Super Bowl ticket could become the priciest one ever sold. The highest priced Super Bowl ticket on record is from 2020, with an average cost of $6,370. The main reason for the high price that year was that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was playing in the game. However, this year is different as the home team is not playing.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be held in Las Vegas for the first time ever. Ticket experts believe this unique location is causing prices to rise as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City before attending the world's largest sporting event.
In case you were curious, the average price for a ticket to the original Super Bowl was $12.
The proximity of the stadium is a significant factor that influences the decision of 49er fans to buy tickets. According to StubHub, 26 percent of ticket sales are from California, as fans prefer to make the shorter trip to support their favorite team. In contrast, Kansas and Missouri only account for a total of 7 percent of ticket sales on the website.
Let's also remember the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event might attract a larger female audience than usual.
Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium, which has a capacity of 65,000 seats, will be completely full. The kickoff for Super Bowl 58 is scheduled for Sunday, February 11th at 6:30PM ET.
