Super Bowl 58 Ticket Prices Soar to Record High: What to Expect for the Most Expensive Game in History

  • by

Super Bowl 58 is on track to have the highest ticket prices ever seen for the game. Only those willing to spend a lot of money will be able to attend this year's Super Bowl.

By Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on Ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide a seat in the upper 300 section, although the site does mention that the seat is guaranteed.

If the prices remain stable, this Super Bowl ticket will be recorded as the most costly in history. The previous record holder is the 2020 Super Bowl, with an average ticket cost of $6,370. The main reason for the high price that year was the presence of the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the game. However, this year there is no home team playing.

The upcoming Super Bowl in Las Vegas is the first of its kind and is causing ticket prices to rise due to fans wanting to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and attend the biggest sports event globally.

In case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.

Many 49er fans prioritize location when purchasing tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26 percent of ticket sales come from California. Fans from California have a shorter distance to travel to see their favorite team compared to fans from Kansas and Missouri, which only account for a combined 7 percent of ticket sales on the website.

Also, we should consider the influence of Taylor Swift! It is possible that her presence at the event will attract a larger number of female fans than usual.

Regardless of how you enter, the Allegiant Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 65,000, will be completely full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
