Chris Young expresses gratitude towards his fans for their support in a video message after being arrested and having the charges against him dismissed.

After going through a tough time, Chris Young expressed his gratitude towards his fans for their support. To show his appreciation, the country artist will be releasing a new song on Friday.

Young was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer in January after an incident at a Nashville bar involving an agent from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission. But the charges were dropped when surveillance footage revealed that Young was not the one who started the altercation.

"I am still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. However, I wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who supported me," Young stated in his video message on Thursday.

Having the support of friends and fans meant a lot to me during this difficult time. It was a relief to see the charges against me dismissed. Going through something like this is not something I would wish on anyone. However, the silver lining was feeling the love and encouragement from those around me.

Young will be releasing his new album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, on March 22. The only song he has shared from the album so far is the title track, which includes a guitar riff from David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" from 1974.
