You have arrived at the page for the Amber 4 Ultra plug-in suite created by Acustica Audio.
The newest release from Acustica Audio utilizes their Hyper technology and new Aria engine to offer an upgraded version of their well-known Amber 4 plug-in suite. Amber 4 Ultra features accurate models of Class A equipment such as EQs, compressor, and preamp, all with improved graphics and audio quality.
The suite includes two EQ plug-ins called Amber 4 Ultra and Amber 4 Stereo Ultra. Each plug-in has the same controls, but the Stereo variant has separate controls for each channel. Both plug-ins have four bands with frequency and gains controls. The low- and high-mid bands have a width parameter, and the low- and high-frequency bands have a control to switch between peak and shelf filter types.
Amber 4 Ultra offers a continuous control feature that allows users to focus on mid, left/right, and side signals. On the other hand, Amber 4 Stereo Ultra allows for individual control over the left/mid and right/side channels. According to Acustica, the former is a highly powerful parametric EQ with minimal noise in the digital realm, while the latter is touted as one of the most transparent EQ options for musical purposes in their lineup.
The Amber 4 Comp Ultra emulates a Class-A opto compressor using Hyper technology to provide a clear dynamics processor. It includes typical compressor controls, as well as features like side-chain filtering, stereo linking options, a blend control for mid, left/right, and side signals, and built-in parallel compression.
The Amber 4 Pre Ultra offers a variety of Class A preamp designs, with a total of eight emulations available. These emulations include both solid-state and valve-based units, each with easy-to-use controls for input and output levels, as well as Preamp (gain) and Filter (high-pass) settings.
With the introduction of the new Aira engine, all plug-ins now have the capability to show dynamic and real-time metering displays. They also utilize the company's Anti-Aliasing algorithm and have lower CPU usage compared to previous versions.
Amber 4 Ultra can be used on computers with Windows 10 or 11, and on Macs with macOS 10.15 or newer. It is compatible with VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plug-in formats.
The Amber 4 Ultra is currently in stock and can be purchased for €89 as a special introductory offer until 26 February 2024. After this date, the price will increase to €209.
