You have arrived at the page for the Amber 4 Ultra plug-in suite created by Acustica Audio.
The newest release from Acustica Audio incorporates Hyper technology and the new Aria engine to improve upon their well-known Amber 4 plug-in suite. Amber 4 Ultra offers accurate representations of Class A equipment such as EQs, a compressor, and a preamp, with updated visuals and better sound quality.
The suite includes two EQ plug-ins called Amber 4 Ultra and Amber 4 Stereo Ultra. Each plug-in has the same controls, but the Stereo version has separate controls for each channel. There are four bands in each plug-in, each with frequency and gain controls. The low- and high-mid bands have a width parameter, while the low- and high-frequency bands have a control to switch between peak and shelf filter types.
Amber 4 Ultra offers a continuous control option that allows for precise adjustments to mid, left/right, and side signals. On the other hand, Amber 4 Stereo Ultra provides separate control over the left/mid and right/side channels. Acustica claims that the first option is one of the most powerful and low-noise parametric EQs in the digital realm, while they assert that the second option is one of the most musically transparent EQ choices in their lineup.
The Amber 4 Comp Ultra emulates a Class-A opto compressor using Hyper technology to create a transparent dynamics processor. It includes standard compressor controls as well as features like side-chain filtering, stereo linking options, a blend control for mid, left/right, and side signals, and built-in parallel compression.
The Amber 4 Pre Ultra includes a variety of Class A preamp designs, with a total of eight emulations available. These emulations include both solid-state and valve-based units and feature an easy-to-use control panel with options for input and output levels, as well as adjustments for Preamp (gain) and Filter (high-pass) settings.
The latest Aira engine has enabled all plug-ins to display dynamic and real-time metering, along with the company's Anti-Aliasing algorithm. Additionally, they now consume less CPU compared to previous versions.
System Requirements
Amber 4 Ultra can be used on computers running Windows 10 or 11, as well as Mac computers running macOS 10.15 and above. The software is compatible with VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plug-in formats.
Information on pricing and availability for the Amber 4 Ultra product indicates that it is currently on sale for €89 until February 26, 2024, after which the price will increase to €209. The product is available for purchase now.
