Presenting the Amber 4 Ultra plug-in suite by Acustica Audio. Welcome to this platform.
Acustica Audio has released a new version of their Amber 4 plug-in suite called Amber 4 Ultra, which utilizes their Hyper technology and Aria engine for improved performance. This updated suite includes accurate models of Class A equipment such as EQs, a compressor, and a preamp, with upgraded graphics and enhanced audio quality.
The suite includes two EQ plug-ins called Amber 4 Ultra and Amber 4 Stereo Ultra. Both have the same controls, but the Stereo version has separate controls for each channel. Each plug-in has four bands with frequency and gain controls. The low- and high-mid bands also have a width parameter, while the low- and high-frequency bands have a control to switch between peak and shelf filter types.
Amber 4 Ultra has a continuous control that allows for targeting mid, left/right, and side signals, while Amber 4 Stereo Ultra provides separate control over the left/mid and right/side channels. Acustica claims that the former is one of the most powerful parametric EQs with low noise in digital form, and the latter is one of the most musically transparent EQ options in their collection.
The Amber 4 Comp Ultra emulates a Class-A opto compressor using Hyper technology for a transparent dynamics processing. It includes typical compressor settings and additional features like side-chain filtering, variable stereo linking, mid, left/right, and side signal blending controls, and built-in parallel compression.
Amber 4 Pre Ultra offers a variety of Class A preamp emulations, including both solid-state and valve-based options. Each has a user-friendly interface with controls for input and output levels, as well as preamp gain and high-pass filtering.
With the introduction of the Aira engine, all plug-ins now have the ability to display dynamic and real-time meters, along with the company's Anti-Aliasing algorithm. Additionally, they have lower CPU usage than the previous versions.
System Requirements
Amber 4 Ultra can be used on computers with Windows 10 or 11, and on Macs with macOS 10.15 or later. The software is compatible with VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plug-in formats.
The new product, Amber 4 Ultra, is currently on the market and can be purchased for a discounted price of €89 until February 26, 2024. After this date, the price will increase to €209.
