Jelly Roll was thrilled after performing at the MusiCares tribute for Jon Bon Jovi in Los Angeles on Friday night. The singer not only took the stage to honor Bon Jovi, but also shared his excitement on social media by documenting the star-studded event. Jelly Roll was ecstatic about his performance and couldn't wait to share the experience with his mom.
During the Grammy Weekend event, a popular rapper who now sings country music was amazed by the impressive lineup of stars that included Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, and Lenny Kravitz. Jelly Roll was introduced by Kravitz before he performed "Bad Medicine" on stage.
Later on, he couldn't hide his excitement about being able to perform.
Jelly Roll praised Bon Jovi as he exited the stage, calling him the man (quote from Rolling Stone).
Jelly Roll had the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of famous musicians from various music genres, capturing various exciting moments with the enthusiasm of a child.
Lainey Wilson performed "We Weren't Born to Follow" at the event, while Shania Twain sang "Bed of Roses." Jason Isbell sang "Wanted Dead or Alive," and the War and Treaty performed "I'll Be There for You." Additionally, there was a collaborative performance between Bon Jovi and Springsteen at the special event.
