Kane Brown has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting underprivileged children through his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and other programs that aim to help at-risk youth since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist.
Currently, the country music industry has recognized the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their ongoing dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to artists who prioritize giving back to their community as a significant aspect of their careers.
He will be celebrated during CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and equal opportunities to children, particularly those facing economic hardships. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for the kind of safe space that the organization strives to create for young people.
Aside from donating money, Brown has also created opportunities for children by giving them tickets and backstage access to an event. He also shared his personal story with them during a dinner experience. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a local chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and numerous others. Tracy Lawrence received the award in the previous year.
