Kane Brown has been recognized with a significant award for his dedication to supporting underprivileged children through organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist.
Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their ongoing dedication to supporting children and prioritizing various charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, has expressed a desire for a safe place like the organization provides for young people in need.
Aside from donating money, such as funding the refurbishment of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also personally given opportunities to children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local group, even including dinner in the experience while sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award in the previous year.
