  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children. Since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist, Brown has consistently shown his support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that work to provide resources and opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.

Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, a yearly recognition given to artists who prioritize giving back to others in their professional endeavors.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for a safe and inclusive space like the one the organization strives to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country music artist has been recognized for his contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, receiving the title of "Champion of Youth" in 2022.

Past winners of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence received the award in the previous year.
