Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their continued dedication to assisting children and focusing on various charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their professional endeavors.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a welcoming community and opportunities to children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for the safe and supportive environment that the organization strives to create for young people.
Aside from donating money to support causes, Brown has also created opportunities for children. For example, he gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal journey. Additionally, he has been involved in reviving a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in previous years as well. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included notable artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award in the previous year.
