Kane Brown Honored for Heartfelt Commitment to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has shown a dedication to helping underprivileged children, which recently earned him a significant award. Since the beginning of his career in country music, Brown has been a strong advocate for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer support and opportunities to at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and emphasizing their charitable activities.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back to their communities as an integral part of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, a special event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strives to offer a supportive and welcoming environment for children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced hardships like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed his desire for the type of safe space and opportunities that the organization aims to offer to young people.

Apart from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities to experience special events. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local group, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has helped to revive a local chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past as well. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for that year.

Some of the past winners of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
