Kane Brown Honored for his Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids: A Look at His Philanthropic Efforts

  • by

Kane Brown, a mainstream country artist, has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to supporting underprivileged children through organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Since the beginning of his career, he has been a strong advocate for providing opportunities to at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the dedication of the singer of "I Can Feel It" to supporting children and focusing on other charitable activities.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back in their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, a special event happening on February 29th in Nashville as part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to create a supportive environment for children from all backgrounds, with a focus on those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced hardships like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, believes that having a safe space like the one the organization offers would have greatly benefited him during his youth.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given personal opportunities to children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including a dinner where he shared his own experiences with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he received the title of "Champion of Youth" from the organization.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
