Kane Brown Honored for Philanthropic Efforts in Supporting Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to supporting underprivileged children through organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Since the beginning of his career in country music, Brown has been a strong advocate for providing opportunities to at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-standing dedication to supporting children and their focus on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on Feb. 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strive to offer support and a welcoming environment to children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Brown, who faced challenges like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, has expressed a desire for all kids to have access to the safe and supportive environment that the organization aims to create.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also given back to the community by providing opportunities for children. For example, he gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, and included dinner in the experience while sharing his own story with the group. Additionally, he has worked on rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized before. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his work.

Some of the past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Tracy Lawrence, who received the award last year.
