  • by

Kane Brown has always been a strong advocate for helping underprivileged children, and his dedication to organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America has earned him a prestigious award. Since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist, Brown has consistently shown support for programs that offer opportunities to disadvantaged and vulnerable youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the efforts of the singer of "I Can Feel It" in supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, a prestigious award given annually to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities as a significant aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated during CRS Honors, a special event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to create a welcoming environment and opportunities for children, with a focus on those facing socioeconomic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed his desire for having had a supportive community like the one the organization offers for young people.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also created opportunities for children. For example, he funded the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022. He also gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner and sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.

The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, being awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" in 2022.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
