  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized for his dedication to helping underprivileged children by receiving a significant award. Since the beginning of his career as a popular country musician, Brown has consistently shown his support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-standing dedication to assisting children and focusing on other charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to artists who prioritize philanthropy and giving back in their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, the chance to be part of a welcoming community. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his childhood, has expressed a desire for the support and safety that the organization strives to offer to young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including a dinner where he shared his own story with them. Additionally, he has worked on rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Some of the past winners of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include well-known artists like Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
