Kane Brown has consistently shown his support for underprivileged children by actively participating in programs like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This commitment to helping at-risk youth has earned him a significant award.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer known for "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities to children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic hardships. Brown, who faced challenges like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for a safe haven like the one the organization offers for young people.
Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also personally created chances for children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 children and 4 adults from a local group, adding dinner to the experience while sharing his own story with them. He has also been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored with the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included country music stars such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Tracy Lawrence was the most recent recipient of the award.
