Kane Brown has always been a strong advocate for helping underprivileged children, supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer opportunities to youth in need. His dedication to this cause has earned him a significant award.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to assisting children and focusing on other charitable activities.
Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back to the community as a significant aspect of their careers.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a sense of belonging and support to children, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, believes that having a safe space like the one the organization offers would have greatly benefited him while growing up.
Aside from donating money, like funding the remodeling of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children chances. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local group, including a meal, while sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has helped revive a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and various others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
