Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been a strong advocate for underprivileged children since the beginning of his career in country music. He has consistently supported organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for at-risk youth.

The country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their dedication to supporting children and their focus on philanthropic work.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to give children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic challenges, a chance to be part of a welcoming community. Brown, who faced homelessness, discrimination, and mistreatment during his own childhood, expressed a desire for the type of supportive environment that the organization strives to offer to young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children unique experiences. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner and sharing his own story. Additionally, he has helped revitalize a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and various others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
