Kane Brown has been recognized with a significant award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children. Since the beginning of his career in mainstream country music, Brown has shown unwavering support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and making philanthropy a priority.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given each year to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, a special event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a welcoming environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, especially those facing economic hardships. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed his desire for having had the support and safety that the organization strives to give to young people.
Aside from donating money, Brown has also given opportunities to children by providing them with tickets and backstage access to events. He shared his personal story with a group of 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner. Additionally, he has helped rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.
Some of the past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the winner of the award last year.
