Kane Brown, a popular country artist, has always shown strong support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that help children who may not have access to the same opportunities as others. This dedication to helping underprivileged kids has earned him a significant award.
Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the dedication of the singer of "I Can Feel It" to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected for the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities in their careers.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strives to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing socio-economic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, has expressed a desire for the type of safe and inclusive community that the organization aims to create for young people.
Aside from donating money, such as funding the refurbishment of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also offered personal experiences for children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 children and 4 adults from a local group, including a dinner where he shared his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in revitalizing a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization for his work.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include well-known artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Tracy Lawrence was the winner of this award last year.
