Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children since the beginning of his career as a popular country music artist. He has consistently shown his support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and similar programs that aim to create opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable activities.

Brown is the recipient of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given annually to artists who prioritize giving back to their community in their careers.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic hardships, a chance for success and belonging in a supportive environment. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for the same kind of safe and nurturing environment that the organization strives to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities by providing them with tickets and backstage access to an event in northeast Ohio. He also included dinner in the experience and shared his personal story with the group. Additionally, he has helped to revitalize a local chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include well-known artists like Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
