Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children. Since the beginning of his career in country music, Brown has shown strong support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer opportunities to disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on other charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back to others as a significant aspect of their careers.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, a special event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities to children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, believes that having a safe space like the organization offers would have greatly benefited him when he was growing up.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 children and 4 adults from a local group, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has helped rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in previous years. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his dedication and impact on the community.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
