Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children, starting from the beginning of his career as a well-known country artist. He has consistently shown his support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-standing dedication to assisting children and focusing on other charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to artists who prioritize giving back through their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event scheduled for February 29th in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strives to offer kids from all backgrounds, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges, with a sense of belonging and opportunities. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, believes that having a safe space like the one the organization offers would have greatly benefited him while growing up.
Aside from donating money for causes like the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner and sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, receiving the title of "Champion of Youth" in 2022.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award in the previous year.
