Kane Brown, a well-known country artist, has consistently shown his support for underprivileged and at-risk youth by being involved with organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. His dedication to helping these kids has earned him a significant award.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to supporting children and putting a focus on charitable activities.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back to the community in their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for the type of safe and welcoming space that the organization strives to create for young people.
Apart from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities by gifting them tickets and backstage access to events. He shared his own story with a group of 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner. Additionally, he has helped in revitalizing a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country musician has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, being awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" in 2022 for his work with the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Tracy Lawrence, among others.
