  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a big award for his dedication to supporting underprivileged kids through organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Since the beginning of his career in country music, Brown has been a strong advocate for programs that help at-risk youth.

Presently, the country music industry is recognizing the dedication of the singer of "I Can Feel It" to supporting children and making philanthropic work a priority.

Brown has been chosen to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as an important aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on Feb. 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, with a supportive community and opportunities for growth. Brown, who faced challenges like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed his desire for a safe and welcoming environment like the one the organization strives to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner, while sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his work.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
