  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist. He has consistently shown support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer opportunities to at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of the song "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back in their work.

He will be celebrated at the CRS Honors event on February 29th in Nashville, which is a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strive to offer support and a welcoming environment to children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, has expressed a desire for all young people to have access to the type of safe space and resources that the organization aims to offer.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, along with a dinner where he shared his personal story. Additionally, he has helped rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for that year.

Some of the past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Tracy Lawrence, who received the award last year.
