Kane Brown Wins 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has always shown support for underprivileged and at-risk youth by being involved with organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since he started his career as a popular country artist. His dedication to helping these kids has earned him a significant award.

Currently, the country music radio industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to supporting children and prioritizing various charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back in their professional lives.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive community and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic hardships. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his childhood, expressed his desire for having had access to a safe and supportive environment like that offered by the organization during his own upbringing.

Aside from donating money, such as funding the refurbishment of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, even including dinner in the experience as he shared his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country musician's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and various other artists. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of this award last year.
