Kane Brown has always been a strong advocate for helping underprivileged children, and his dedication to supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America has earned him a significant award.
The country radio industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-standing dedication to supporting children and focusing on philanthropic endeavors.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, an award given every year to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities as a significant aspect of their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is dedicated to offering kids, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, a chance for success and belonging in a supportive environment. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed his desire for the same safe haven that the organization aims to create for young people.
Apart from donating money for projects like renovating a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given kids opportunities personally. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, along with dinner, where he shared his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his efforts.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence received the award in the previous year.
