Kane Brown has been recognized for his dedication to helping underprivileged children by receiving a significant award. Throughout his career as a country music artist, he has consistently shown his support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their continued dedication to supporting children and focusing on other charitable activities.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out yearly to artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a component of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for a safe and nurturing place like the organization's clubs for kids and teenagers to grow up in.
Aside from donating money, such as funding the remodeling of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 children and 4 adults from a local chapter, offering them dinner and sharing his own experiences with them. Additionally, he has been involved in revitalizing a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his work.
Some of the past winners of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
