Kane Brown has been recognized with a significant award for his dedication to supporting underprivileged children through organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Since the beginning of his career as a country artist, Brown has shown a strong commitment to helping at-risk youth access opportunities for success.
Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the "I Can Feel It" artist's dedication to supporting children and focusing on various charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back in their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to create a welcoming environment and opportunities for children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, believes that having a safe space like the organization offers would have greatly benefited him as a youth.
Aside from donating money, such as funding the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children the chance to experience special opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner while sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has put effort into revitalizing a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, receiving the title of "Champion of Youth" in 2022 for his efforts.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and various others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
