  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children since the beginning of his career in country music. He has consistently supported organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer known for "I Can Feel It" for their dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable work.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as an important aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strives to offer a welcoming environment and opportunities for children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced hardships such as homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, has expressed a desire for the type of supportive environment that the organization aims to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given kids opportunities personally. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 children and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner, while sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has helped rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his work.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and various others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award in the previous year.
