You have arrived at the announcement of Sennheiser's new HD 490 PRO headphones.
Sennheiser has introduced the HD 490 PRO headphones, which they say provide great clarity, comfort, and durability. These headphones have been designed to meet the needs of today's music production industry.
The HD 490 PRO series headphones are designed to provide a clear and accurate sound reproduction without any added coloration. They cover a wide range of frequencies from 5Hz to 36.1kHz (-10dB). These headphones come with two sets of ear pads that are tailored for producing and mixing music. This helps prevent ear fatigue and allows for precise identification of frequencies during critical listening tasks.
The HD 490 PRO headphones are designed with an open-back design, neodymium magnets, and Sennheiser's low-frequency cylinder system to provide a clear and precise low end sound. They are able to capture low frequencies accurately and with detail.
Sennheiser has created headphones that are comfortable, flexible, and lightweight, with the intention of providing a pleasant experience during long studio sessions. The HD 490 PRO series features Sennheiser's Open-frame Architecture, which helps reduce distortion and resonance for improved sound quality.
The headphones come with a plug-in called Dear Reality dearVR MIX-SE, which utilizes spatial audio technology to create a virtual mixing space that replicates the sound characteristics of different real-life mix studios and locations when using headphone monitors.
The HD 490 PRO Plus variant comes with a 3m cable, additional headband pad, and a carrying case as extra accessories.
There are two options in the HD 490 PRO series – the HD 490 PRO and HD 490 PRO Plus. Both options come with the HD 490 PRO headphones, a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter, a 1.8 m cable, mixing ear pads, and producing ear pads. The HD 490 PRO Plus also includes an extra headband pad, a 3 m cable, and a case.
The Sennheiser HD 490 PRO headphones are currently on the market, with the PRO version priced at $399£349 and the PRO Plus version priced at $479£399.
