The lead singer of Sugar Ray has confirmed that Kid Rock's lyrics about "getting more ass" than Mark McGrath were true.
The words were taken from a song by Rock in 2001 called "Cocky" from an album with the same title. The part in question includes the lines: "Do you even know who I am? / I'm Kid Rock from the old school / I have more money than Matchbox Twenty / I have more success with women than Mark McGrath."
The question of whether Kid Rock had more romantic encounters than Mark McGrath was finally addressed after over twenty years. It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media if Kid Rock truly had more romantic partners than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument, and he also mentioned the Sugar Ray vocalist in his post.
McGrath responded to the question with a good attitude, confirming that the person did indeed rhyme "ass" with his last name. He made light of the situation and clarified any confusion through X (previously known as Twitter).
