The lead singer of Sugar Ray has confirmed that Kid Rock's lyrics about "getting more ass" than Mark McGrath were true.
The lyrics were taken from a song called "Cocky" by Rock in 2001, which was part of his album with the same title. In those lyrics, Kid Rock proudly declares his identity and success, comparing himself to other musicians.
How was a question that has been lingering for over twenty years finally resolved? It all began when Rock Feed posed a question on social media asking if Kid Rock really had more romantic success than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after that, Finn McKenty, a well-known YouTuber, proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument. McKenty also mentioned McGrath, who is the lead singer of Sugar Ray, in the post
McGrath responded to the question in a light-hearted manner, confirming that he did indeed rhyme "ass" with his name. He made the statement through X (previously known as Twitter).
