The lyrics in question were taken from Kid Rock's song "Cocky" from his album with the same title, released in 2001. In this stanza, Kid Rock declares his identity as a veteran in the music industry, boasting about his wealth and success compared to other popular musicians.

Shortly after, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument, and he also mentioned the singer from Sugar Ray in his suggestion.
