Sugar Ray Singer Confirms Kid Rock Lyrics Were True: Did Kid Rock “Get More Ass” Than Mark McGrath?

  • by

Lead singer of Sugar Ray confirms that Kid Rock's lyrics about "getting more ass" than Mark McGrath were accurate. The singer has verified that Kid Rock was telling the truth in his song "Bawitdaba" about his romantic exploits.

The lyrics were taken from a song called "Cocky" by Rock from his album with the same title released in 2001. In the part being referred to, the lyrics mention Rock identifying himself and boasting about his wealth and popularity compared to other musicians.

How was a solution found to a question that has been around for over twenty years? It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media if Kid Rock really had more success with women than Mark McGrath.

Shortly after that, Finn McKenty, a well-known YouTuber, proposed that the debate should be resolved by Mark McGrath, lead singer of Sugar Ray, and tagged him in the post.

Shortly after, McGrath responded to the question with a good-natured attitude. He confirmed that the person in question did indeed rhyme "ass" with McGrath, earning extra points for creativity. McGrath's response was shared via X (formerly Twitter).
