The lyrics were taken from a song called "Cocky" by Rock in 2001, which was included in his album with the same title. The specific part of the song contains the lyrics: "Do you even know who I am? I am Kid Rock, a veteran in the music industry. I have more wealth than the band Matchbox Twenty and I am more successful with attracting women than Mark McGrath."
