The lead singer of Sugar Ray has verified that Kid Rock's lyrics claiming he "got more ass" than Mark McGrath were accurate.
The lyrics in question were taken from a song called "Cocky" by Rock in 2001. In these lyrics, Rock proudly states his identity and success, comparing himself to other musicians in terms of money and popularity.
How was the question that has been around for over twenty years finally answered? It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media whether Kid Rock really had more success with women than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed the idea of having Mark McGrath resolve the argument, and he also mentioned the Sugar Ray vocalist in his post.
McGrath responded to the question in a light-hearted manner, confirming that the person in question did indeed rhyme "ass" with his name. He made the statement through X (previously known as Twitter) with a sense of humor.
